To Our Mentors
April 27, 2020
Seedling

We recognize that everyone is being affected differently by current events. We have been prompted to significantly change how we live, we have postponed future plans, and many are simply rising to the challenge of trying to survive until normalcy can be felt again. No matter where you find yourself please know that we are thinking of you, sending well wishes, uplifting thoughts, and hope that we will get through this quickly.

Seedling is about relationships and the connection between mentors and mentees has recently been challenged. We would like you to know that the investment you have put into reconnecting with your mentee makes a difference. While you may not immediately recognize or identify the impact of that connection, please remember that your presence in their lives, and their presence in yours, means something. It’s the relationships we create in life that make it worthwhile.

Below are some encouraging thoughts and well wishes to you from the Seedling Mentor Directors. We are grateful for you.

“’Dr. Seuss says, ‘When something bad happens, you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you.’ I wish you pure strength during this time.”

“Choosing to be optimistic during a challenging time makes the journey back to happiness a little less bumpy. While we may not avoid every obstacle ahead, having hope that we will get there makes it more of a reality.”
