Adopt-a-Seedling-School and help provide life-changing mentorship to students impacted by parental incarceration. With a $5,000 annual sponsorship, you can support one school campus and help ensure mentoring, stability, and encouragement to students facing some of life’s toughest challenges.

Invest in Student Success Through Mentoring

The Adopt-a-Seedling-School program gives corporations, community partners, and individual donors a direct and meaningful way to invest in student success through school-based mentoring.

By adopting a Seedling school, your support helps children experiencing the challenges of having an incarcerated parent receive consistent, one-to-one mentoring, encouragement, and academic support from a caring adult mentor.

A sponsorship of $5,000 fully supports one school campus program for an academic year and helps students build resilience, confidence, stability, and the support they need to thrive in school and in life.

How It Works

Seedling partners with more than 120+ schools across Central Texas to identify students who have an incarcerated parent and match them with trained volunteer mentors who meet weekly on campus.

Your sponsorship helps fund:

• Identifying and connecting students within this often hidden and underserved population to the Seedling mentoring program
• Mentor recruitment, screening, and training
• Ongoing mentor coaching and match support
• A dedicated Seedling Mentor Director who oversees the program and serves as the liaison between mentors, students, schools, and guardians
• Program coordination and oversight to ensure safe, consistent, high-quality mentoring relationships

What Seedling school will you adopt?

The schools listed below are active Seedling partner campuses available for adoption during the 2026–2027 academic year.

Seedling also supports mentoring relationships at 50+ additional elementary, middle, and high school campuses. These schools are located across Austin ISD, Hays CISD, Del Valle ISD, Austin Achieve, Pflugerville ISD, and surrounding districts.
